MELVILLE CAVES

Named after the Bush Ranger “Captain Melville.” Melville Caves is home to the rare Box & Iron Bark Forest, and has amazing granite outcrops dotted throughout the Park. Walk or drive up to the lookout which offers a 360 degree view of surrounding areas.

The BBQ and Picnic area are at the base of the Granite outcrop. The camping ground is near the top of the caves. Enjoy the walking tracks, native flowers and bird life.

Home of the Welcome Stranger Monument, and the birth place of John Flynn.
